Les Amis de l'Abbaye de Villers

This association brings together fans of the Villers-la-Ville Abbey and of heritage in general. Members benefit from free access to the ruins throughout the year and the two monthly information bulletin, access to trips and activities organised specially for them and reductions on the cultural programme and in the library. A not-for-profit organisation founded in 1985, which aims to protect and promote the artistic, monumental, historical, cultural, natural and tourist heritage of Court-Saint-Etienne, to promote education with regard to this, to sustain and organise events relating to it.

Court-Saint-Etienne, Histoire, Archéologie, Folklore (C.H.A.F.)

A circle created in 1993 which is interested in the archaeological and industrial past, the local history and the folklore of Court-Saint-Etienne. Its aim is the organisation of exhibitions and events. Publication in the form of notebooks.

Centre Historique d'Etude et de Recherche de Chastre (CHERCHA)

Founded in 1989, the CHERCHA publishes a quarterly newsletter, "La Mémoire de Chastre" (Memories of Chastre), devoted to the different villages in the Chastre area (or its surroundings). It also publishes original historical works. A defender of heritage, CHERCHA organises conferences, exhibitions and historical walks.
