The Centre Régional d'Initiation à l'Environnement (CRIE) at Villers-la-Ville
(Regional Environmental Initiation Centre)
The 'Centres Régionaux d'Initiation à l'Environnement in the Walloon Region' (CRIE for short) provides a public information, awareness and training service on environmental issues with the aim of creating sustai-nable development. The various CRIEs are spread throughout the whole Walloon territory so that they are as close to the residents as possible. The activities of the CRIEs are aimed at schools, families, companies and public services, offering activities such as guided walks, training courses, exhibitions, conferences, holi-day courses, support projects, family activities, etc.
The programme of the CRIE in Villers-la-Ville: The forest environment, the hidden natural world, natural heri-tage and the relationship between man and his environment over time, all within the perspective of sustai-nable development.
