Artefacts and descriptions of the battles of May 1940 during which the 1st French army put up a heroic resistance at Gembloux, on the KW line: between Koningshooik-Wavre (Dyle) and Namur (railway line 161).

Opening dates and times:every 2nd weekend of the month and every day by arrangement from 14.00 to 18.00.
Participates in the “Printemps des Musées” in May and the “journées du Bois” in October.

The museum displays hand tools representing around ten different crafts. Woodwork is well represented but other crafts are also represented. Rural life brings together a real collection of tools and utensils from the 1900s.
