The Tourism Office of the Villers Region in Walloon Brabant Chastre, Court-Saint-Etienne, Mont-Saint-Guibert, Villers-la-Ville, Walhain
A gently undulating countryside scattered with little villages where time seems to have stopped, large courtyard farms in the middle of vast cultivated fields, deep forests crossed by a network of trails and paths, this is what makes the Villers Region in Walloon Brabant so attractive. There are a number of curiosities dotted around which make up the heritage of this quality rural area: old watermills, numerous castels, chapels, farms, etc...
Nestling in a bed of greenery, the ruins of the Cistercian Abbey of Villers-la-Ville rise majestically from the middle of hundreds of hectares of woodland. The ruins represent a real crossroads in the history of our region and give the visitor something to marvel at.
